Submission checklist
You can use this list to carry out a final check of your submission before you send it to the journal for review. Please check the relevant section in this Guide for Authors for more details.
Ensure that the following are checked:
- Only one author is designated as the corresponding author with contact details: E-mail address & Full postal address.
- All necessary files have been uploaded:
- Cover letter (.pdf or .doc or .docx)
- Title page (.doc or .docx)
- Manuscript with tables and figures included after References section (.doc or .docx)
- Supplementary materials/Supporting documents (one single file is accepted with a maximum 10 pages)
- Declaration of the corresponding author that the submitted manuscript has not have been published in substantial part or in full in a scientific journal, book, or similar entity or that are being considered for publication elsewhere (.pdf signed).
- The title must either be without acronyms or, if they have to be used, then acronyms need to be defined. Otherwise, manuscript will be returned.
- Manuscript has been 'spell checked' and 'grammar checked'. All references mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the text, and vice versa.
- Limit the total number of figures and tables to no more than 7. Place secondary figures and tables, pictorial figures, and over-sized tables in Supplementary Material.
- Permission has been obtained for use of copyrighted material from other sources (including the Internet).
- A competing interests statement is provided, even if the authors have no competing interests to declare.
- Journal policies detailed in this POLICIES and GUIDELINES guide have been reviewed.
